Terms of Use
Agreement
By using YOSS, you agree to these Terms of Use for its website, web app, Telegram Mini App, bot and related services. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The provider is Roman Starinskiy, an individual developer.
Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and applicable store terms apply additionally only when you obtain a native Apple version through that distribution. Mandatory law prevails over any conflicting term.
What YOSS is
YOSS helps you understand daily energy, water balance, and readiness through a YOSS Score and related on-device insights. It is a lifestyle awareness app — not a medical device and not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
License
Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the available YOSS service on devices you own or control. For a native Apple distribution, the applicable App Store usage rules also apply.
The license is for your own personal lifestyle awareness only. It does not include any right to copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or create derivative works of the app. Public display is limited to sharing your own cards through the in-app share sheet, as described below.
No other license is granted. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Ownership and intellectual property
YOSS and all related materials remain our property (and our licensors’ property). This includes, without limitation:
- the software, its structure, and its implementation
- visual design, layout, motion, icons, and information architecture
- product copy, locked brand lines, and naming — including YOSS, YOSS Score, YOSS State, YOSS Core, YOSS Today, and YOSS Life Book
- documentation and the public “How YOSS works” explainer as a copyrighted text
Using YOSS does not transfer any intellectual property to you. You may not use our names, marks, or distinctive presentation in a way that suggests affiliation or that would confuse people about the source of a product.
You may share your own YOSS Score / state cards through the in-app share sheet for personal communication. You may not extract or reuse the design system, layout, typography, copy templates, or information architecture to build or assist a competing product.
Proprietary methods
Scoring, Core balances, Focus Signal selection, prediction, causal interpretation, coefficient sets, Pattern observations, action ranking, and the personal Digital Twin / model methods — as implemented in YOSS — are proprietary.
The public “How YOSS works” page is a high-level product explainer. It is not a specification license and does not authorize reconstruction of the implementation.
You may not extract, reconstruct, publish, or commercially use internal methods, unpublished weights, raw engine indices, or other non-public mechanics.
Accounts and records
You may use the local core without an account. Account services use verified Telegram sign-in; there is no email/password registration. Protect your device and Telegram account, check sign-in approvals and use only an account you are entitled to access.
Cloud synchronization and cloud backups are user-selected actions. Bot logging commands save facts directly on the server. Enabling background delivery can synchronize the account first. Export your data before clearing local storage, and review imports, corrections and conflict choices before accepting them.
Pro, trial and purchases
After three distinct server-recorded activity days, an eligible verified Telegram account can explicitly start one 14-day Pro trial. Merely opening YOSS does not start it. The trial is not a paid subscription and does not automatically charge you. Deleting and recreating data or linking an account does not create a new trial entitlement.
Paid sales may be unavailable. A displayed catalog is not confirmation that checkout is enabled. Where YOSS offers purchases through Telegram Stars, the price, duration and renewal terms must be shown before you confirm. Telegram's Stars terms and the applicable payment/store rules also apply.
- A monthly Stars plan, when offered, is a recurring 30-day subscription. Disable renewal through the available subscription controls before the next charge; cancellation retains access through the paid period.
- Prepaid periods, when offered, are one-time purchases for the stated duration and do not renew automatically. A future period can be queued after existing access as shown before purchase.
- Use the purchase-restore controls or payment support for a missing entitlement. A charge is recognized only after verified provider confirmation; a screenshot or an opened invoice is not proof of payment.
- For payment or refund support, use the in-app payment-support control or /paysupport in the bot. Contacting support is not itself approval of a refund. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
For a native App Store purchase, Apple handles billing, subscription management and applicable refund procedures instead. Its displayed offer and renewal rules apply to that purchase; a Telegram/web trial is not automatically an Apple introductory offer.
Your data and service limits
Your records remain yours. The methods that interpret them remain ours. Local records, selected cloud copies, bot commands, notifications and retained payment/trial records are described in the Privacy Policy. Local reset, cloud deletion and deleting a Telegram conversation are separate actions. Cloud-data deletion requires successful cancellation of monthly renewal and does not erase minimal purchase, trial or access-audit ledgers.
Score, patterns, confidence and forecasts are model estimates based on the available records and assumptions, not measurements or guarantees about your health or future state. Scheduled events remain assumptions until confirmed. Check a suggested action against your circumstances; seek qualified care for health concerns.
Notifications and synchronization depend on your device, network and third-party services and are not guaranteed to arrive at a particular time. Do not rely on YOSS for emergencies. You may stop using YOSS at any time; access or features may be restricted for abuse, legal requirements or service maintenance, subject to mandatory law and any applicable rights for paid access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the app or use it for unlawful purposes
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, or otherwise attempt to derive source code or underlying methods, except to the extent that mandatory law allows (for example, interoperability)
- intercept, hook, instrument, or analyze the app or its traffic in order to reconstruct methods
- scrape or automatically extract screens, copy, or outputs in order to reconstruct the product
- use YOSS to train, calibrate, benchmark, or evaluate a competing model, app, or service
- clone or closely imitate the UX, visual system, information architecture, or brand positioning of YOSS for a competing product
- remove or obscure proprietary notices
These limits do not stop you from independently creating a lifestyle app without using YOSS as a source. They do stop you from using YOSS itself as a blueprint.
Feedback
If you send ideas or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
Disclaimer
YOSS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Insights and suggestions are informational and intended for general lifestyle awareness only.
Changes
We may update these terms and publish the revised version with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Survival and mandatory law
License limits, ownership, proprietary methods, acceptable use, feedback, and this disclaimer survive the end of your license.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law, including any non-waivable reverse-engineering right.
